Milwaukee, Wisconsin– Leadership Now’s affiliated PAC, Project Democracy, is airing a compelling new ad to mobilize moderate voters in Wisconsin, highlighting the risks Trump poses for the economy and urging support for the Harris-Walz ticket. The ad, part of Project Democracy’’s  “Business Case Against Trump” campaign, features bipartisan Wisconsin business leaders speaking to the vital connection between democratic stability and economic prosperity.

“The contrast in this presidential election couldn’t be clearer,” said Weyco Group Chairman and CEO Tom Florsheim Jr.  “Reelecting Donald Trump will return us to chaos and retribution, which would be harmful to our economy, while Kamala Harris will prioritize the rule of law and maintain America’s global leadership.”

The Wisconsin ad features five respected Wisconsin business leaders advocating for the Harris-Walz ticket. These leaders emphasize the importance of the rule of law and economic predictability, arguing that a Trump presidency poses a threat to both.

“As a lifelong Republican and Wisconsin business leader, I believe it’s important for voters to carefully consider how crucial stability and rational decision-making are to our economic performance,” said Anoop Prakash, a Wisconsin manufacturing executive who chairs Leadership Now Wisconsin.  “I’m confident Vice President Harris will be a steady hand and shepherd our economy and democracy with integrity, while Donald Trump will be an unpredictable and volatile influence on growth and investment.”

The new ad highlights a bipartisan group of Wisconsin business leaders, including Betsy Brenner, Tom Florsheim Jr., David Lubar, Corey Nettles and Anoop Prakash. These leaders advocate for Harris-Walz, stressing the need for stable and predictable economic policies.

With a six figure budget, the campaign intends to reach 465,000 swing voters in Wisconsin over the final seven weeks of the election. Ads will be distributed across various platforms, including streaming services like Hulu, social media like Facebook and Instagram, and online news sites like ESPN.com and JSOnline.com. With the economy being voters’ top concern, the campaign aims to present a clear argument that Harris-Walz offers a more dependable path forward.

Project Democracy’s initial national ad campaign, which targeted moderate voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach. The Wisconsin-focused effort builds on this success, utilizing a well-tested strategy to address the critical issues of rule of law and economic predictability.
