MADISON – Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin introduced the “Hospital Stability and Health Services Act” (“HSHS Act”). Under this proposal, hospital systems planning to close would be required to notify the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and create a plan, with community input, to connect patients to accessible care.
