Madison, WI – Protecting the integrity of Wisconsin’s elections is a top priority for Representative Dave Maxey (R-New Berlin). On Wednesday, Representative Maxey was named Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections by Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester). Representative Maxey says he will be a strong advocate for common-sense, practical policies that help build voter confidence in our elections.

“I am honored and excited to lead this important committee and continue working to improve the integrity of our election system,” said Representative Maxey, “Wisconsin voters deserve secure and transparent elections, and I remain committed to ensuring their voices are protected. I look forward to advancing legislation that upholds these principles.”

In the last session, Representative Maxey served as Vice-Chairman of the committee. The Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections will help shape election and campaign finance laws in Wisconsin.
