Appointed Vice-Chair of Children and Families for the 2025-2026 Legislative Session
Madison – This week, committee leadership was announced for the upcoming 2025-2026 Legislative Session. State Representative William Penterman has been appointed Chair of the Assembly Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs and Vice-Chair of the Assembly Committee on Children and Families.
“As a member of the armed forces, it is a privilege to lead the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee and contribute to policy development that honors and supports veterans and their families,” said Rep. Penterman.
Rep. Penterman also expressed his enthusiasm for his additional leadership role.
“Serving as Vice-Chair of Children and Families is another meaningful opportunity to help shape policies that protect and empower Wisconsin’s children and their families. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to working with my colleagues to advance legislation in these critical areas,” concluded Rep. Penterman.
