(Madison) – A bill authored by Representative Melissa Ratcliff (D-Cottage Grove) and Senator Chris Larson (D-Milwaukee) to close a glaring loophole in Wisconsin Campaign Finance Laws, was passed today by an 8-0 vote in the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections. AB599 would prohibit a foreign national from making a contribution to a referendum committee.
