“I’d like to thank the voters of the 53rd district for electing me to the State Assembly. I’m honored and humbled that the citizens have given me this opportunity. I look forward to once again representing the Fox Valley in Madison and working across the aisle to make Wisconsin the best state it can be. I intend to represent all the residents regardless of political affiliation or who they voted for.
I won my campaign the old-fashioned way, by knocking on doors and telling constituents what I planned to do in Madison, not by how bad the other person was with the fabrications, lies and mudslinging I endured by my opponents’ allies during this campaign. I appreciate my constituents for seeing through the misleading ads and mailings and recognizing that I am the candidate that intends to represent everyone in my district, not just the voters of one political party.
