Madison- Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg) issued the following statement regarding today’s leadership elections.
“I appreciate the support from my colleagues and I am honored by the trust they have placed in me to lead our caucus.
“Republicans return eighteen talented members with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. I’m looking forward to working with everyone and having a successful session.
“The number one issue we heard from voters was the effect of rising costs and inflation. Senate Republicans’ top priority will be returning the state’s surplus to hardworking families.”
