Madison… Senator Cory Tomczyk (R-Mosinee) commented on his recent committee appointments for
the 2025-2027 Legislative session:

“I am excited to get back to work as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Local
Government. This past session, my office and I enjoyed a great working relationship with leadership at
the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and I look forward to continuing our work together to
ensure that Wisconsin’s roads and infrastructure are sound while protecting the taxpayers.

“I also look forward to working with the incoming Trump Administration along with soon-to-be
Secretary of the United States Department of Transportation and Northern Wisconsin native Sean Duffy.
“In addition, I have been appointed to the following committees for next session:

  • Vice Chair, Senate Committee on Agriculture & Revenue
  • Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Veteran & Military Affairs
  • Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR)

“I look forward to no longer being the ‘new guy’ and using my experience from my first session to best
represent the great people of Central Wisconsin.”
