GREEN BAY, WI – Jamie Wall, Democratic candidate for Wisconsin State Senate, issued a statement today regarding incumbent Republican Eric Wimberger’s decision not to seek reelection in the 30th State Senate District.
“While we might not agree on every issue, I would still like to thank Senator Wimberger for his work on behalf of Green Bay and Brown County,” said Wall. “In the race for this newly-open seat, I’m determined to bring fresh ideas, inclusive leadership, and a dedication to serving the needs of our community. Regardless of who the Republicans nominate, I’m excited to take this message to the voters of the 30th District.”
Senator Wimberger’s decision not to seek reelection in the 30th District sets the stage for a competitive race in an open seat which both Governor Evers and President Biden won. With deep support in the community and over $100,000 on hand, Wall is positioned as the strongest contender to win the seat.
