The Waupaca County Republican party has been informed by email on 8-9-2024 from the Wisconsin Ethics Commission, that we have submitted enough evidence for the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to hear the ethics complaint we filed against Republican Representative and Candidate for the 57th assembly district Kevin Petersen, for a false disclaimer on his campaign literature, which breaks Wisconsin State Statue 11.1303. Based on the information we received from the Wisconsin Ethic Commission Council we will be filing an Ethics Complaint against the Republican Party of Wisconsin for breaking State Statue 11.1303 as well. Waupaca County Republican Party prides itself on transparency and ethics, and we cannot have a candidate along with the Republican Party of Wisconsin misrepresenting information to the voter in the 57th Assembly district. We need fair and transparent Republican primary elections in our party.
