MADISON, Wis. — New reporting from a UW Madison student newspaper, The Daily Cardinal, detailed how Eric Hovde, California bank owner and Wisconsin Senate candidate, has a long history of making disparaging remarks about college students and young people, including calling them “so stupid” and complaining they don’t have any “work ethic.”
