MADISON, Wis. — Five months ago today, Eric Hovde said that most nursing home residents shouldn’t be allowed to vote because he believes they only have “five, six months life expectancy.”
Hovde later doubled down on these insulting claims, saying that “a large percentage” of nursing home residents “are not in the mental capacity to (vote).”
