A Better Wisconsin Together Political Fund filed a report with the state detailing a new $954,950 TV buy opposing conservative Brad Schimel.
A Better Wisconsin Together Political Fund spokesperson said its buy will be on broadcast and cable in the Madison and Milwaukee media markets. It will run for 10 days starting tomorrow.
The narrator in group’s new ad says “Extremist Brad Schimel” supports the 1849 law that would ban abortion even in cases of rape, incest or to protect the mother’s health. The narrator adds Schimel has said there’s no right to an abortion and supports overturning Roe v. Wade, so it’s no surprise that he’s backed by “radicals” who oppose birth control and IVF.
“With our rights on the line, Schimel would be the deciding vote on the Wisconsin Supreme Court,” the narrator says to close the ad. “But he’s an extremist politician who puts Wisconsin women in danger.”
