Madison, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) released the following statement celebrating National School Choice Week.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak released the following statement:

“As the first state in the country to pass school choice, Wisconsin is thrilled to once again celebrate National School Choice Week and highlight the need for educational opportunities that empower all students to succeed. Thanks to the majorities in our legislature, education freedom has been preserved, despite the continued efforts of Governor Evers to place restrictions and limits on school choice.

“For more than 30 years, Wisconsin has been a leader in education freedom. We will continue to work closely with legislators to protect parental rights and expand educational opportunities for all Wisconsin students.”
