MADISON, Wisconsin – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin has promoted Brandi Davis to Director of Apprenticeship.

Davis joined ABC as Director of Education in 2022. Her role includes leading the association’s education programming, including the ConstructionU series and the annual SuperCon event. Prior to her time at ABC, Davis enjoyed a lengthy career in adult education and training.

“We’ve seen the benefits of Brandi’s expertise in training and education across the association,” says Kelly Tourdot, President of ABC of Wisconsin. “As we look at record apprenticeship enrollment and an expanding department, I am confident Brandi will lead our program into continued growth and success.”

ABC of Wisconsin enrolled nearly 2,500 apprentices in 2024, and is on track to surpass that number in 2025. Davis will be training apprenticeship managers, and working alongside employers, instructors and apprentices to continue ABC’s success with developing the next generation of skilled professionals.

“I am excited to work more with our members and to further the development of construction careers,” Davis said. “We know the graduates of our program have the skills required to meet workforce demands. Construction careers command a high wage, and provide job security in an industry that needs more skilled workers.”

Davis’s new role is effective immediately. ABC plans to hire an education director to continue the ConstructionU and other workforce training programs.
