CALEDONIA, WI – Randy Bryce, the former Ironworker and grassroots candidate for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District, on Thursday condemned millionaire incumbent Rep. Bryan Steil’s vote today for the Republican House budget bill, saying, “Wisconsin will remember this total betrayal of the Middle Class in 2026.”

“In voting to do Donald Trump’s bidding and approve this “big, beautiful bill,” Rep. Bryan Steil has shown exactly WHY he avoids his constituents: This was a vote to cut Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, add TRILLIONS to the deficit – and all to pay for massive tax cuts for billionaires.

“What Steil did today is EXACTLY why I’ve entered this race: Wisconsin WILL remember this total betrayal of the Middle Class in 2026.”
