Amery, WI (December 22, 2025) – Civic Media announces that WLAK-FM 107.5 in Amery, WI has flipped from News/Talk to a simulcast of St. Croix Country (WSCM Baldwin, WI) effective immediately. The move significantly expands the reach of the popular country format across west-central Wisconsin and east-central Minnesota.
WSCM will now broadcast across a vastly expanded coverage area. WLAK’s 107.5 FM signal covers Amery and surrounding communities in Polk and Barron counties, while WSCM’s 95.7 signal serves Baldwin, the St. Croix Valley, and extends west into the eastern Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
Together, the two signals create comprehensive regional coverage from the Twin Cities suburbs to the Amery area.

We have two new team members on the Civic Media roster! Mentioned above, veteran broadcaster Chuck Sullivan has been appointed Regional Market Manager with Civic Media and will be based in Eau Claire, WI.
Sullivan is already well acquainted with Wisconsin media , having spent seven years with Audacy as SVP/Market Manager for Milwaukee & Madison.Sullivan previously served in leadership roles for Audacy in Denver, Cumulus Media in Mobile, AL and Destin, FL, and Ocean Broadcasting in Wilmington, NC.
Sullivan remarked, “It’s a homecoming of sorts, having spent several years in Milwaukee and Madison. He added, “It’s truly a unique opportunity in our industry, given the fiercely independent and community focused culture of Civic Media. I was drawn to their guiding strategy of “Hometown Radio Refreshed”. I look forward to working with the team and serving our local communities.
Philip J. Jimenez has been named Regional Director of Sales and Digital Sales Manager. Phil brings more than three decades of experience to his new role, most recently serving as General Manager at Adams Publishing Group in Sun Prairie WI. He has held previous leadership roles across NRG Media, Cumulus, CBS and Hearst Communications.
