EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. – Today, Rebecca Cooke earned the endorsement of the Blue Dog PAC, becoming their first endorsed challenger candidate for 2026.

“Rebecca Cooke is the homegrown fighter western Wisconsin needs in Congress right now. As the daughter of farmers, and someone who waits tables at night to pay the bills, Rebecca knows firsthand what it means to work hard to make ends meet,” said Representative Jared Golden, Chairman of the Blue Dog PAC. “In Congress, she’ll bring that same drive to improve the lives of Wisconsinites by lowering costs, improving health care, standing up for farmers and securing an economy built for working families. The Blue Dogs are proud she’s the first candidate we’re endorsing for the 2026 election.”

“This moment calls for leaders who are ready to roll up their sleeves to get to work for the American people. I applaud the Blue Dogs’ commitment to getting things done and look forward to working with the coalition to defeat Derrick Van Orden and send someone to Washington that is going to fight for working-class Wisconsinites,” said Cooke

The Blue Dog PAC joins fifteen Members of Congress from across the political spectrum, EMILYs List, Elect Democratic Women, labor unions, farmers, and working people across WI-03 supporting Cooke as the clear choice for Congress.
