Liberal Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford’s new TV ad targets her conservative rival Brad Schimel for suing “to let insurance companies deny care for preexisting conditions.”
The new ad features a man identified as Chris M., who says he has diabetes. He says when Schimel sued to let insurance companies deny care for preexisting conditions, “it really scared me.” He adds Crawford “looks out for people,” adding she prosecuted health care fraud and will stand up to the “big insurance companies that try to rip you off, not help them do it.”
He calls Schimel way “too extreme” for the Supreme Court.
“We need a common sense judge who stands with us. That’s Susan Crawford,” he says to close the spot.
