A new ad from liberal Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford features a series of women who say she’s the “common sense judge who will protect” their abortion rights, while knocking conservative rival Brad Schimel as an “extremist” who will take them away.
According to AdImpact, it’s the 17th ad that Crawford has put on the air since the campaign began. Schimel has run nine.
The women say Crawford defended Planned Parenthood as a lawyer and “personally trusts women to decide whether to have an abortion.” They add Schimel “wants to take us back to the 1849 law that bans abortion for rape and the health of the mother.”
The women call Crawford the “common sense judge who will protect our rights,” adding that’s “why we need” her on the Supreme Court.
