MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) encourages the media to help promote the 125th anniversary of the Wisconsin State Park System using its media toolkit. Please credit all assets to Wisconsin DNR.
The toolkit includes a summary document with facts and figures about the Wisconsin State Park System, photos, b-roll footage and an interview with Missy Vanlanduyt, DNR recreation partnerships section manager.
The Wisconsin State Park System has provided outdoor recreation opportunities for 125 years. The establishment of Interstate Park in 1900 marks the founding of the state park system.
