Alison Prange to serve as the next Chair of the Board of Directors

THE NEWS

The Board of Directors for the Institute for Reforming Government has elected Alison Prange to serve as the next Chair of the Board. Alison Prange was appointed to IRG’s Board in 2022.

THE QUOTES

Alison Prange, IRG Board Chair:

“IRG is one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking state-based organizations in the country,” said Prange. “I am honored to serve as the next Chair of the Board during this pivotal chapter in the organization’s history. It is exciting to continue guiding IRG’s mission of creating real and lasting reforms that empower families and strengthen communities in Wisconsin.”

CJ Szafir, IRG President and CEO:

“Alison’s experience in strategic leadership, public affairs, and coalition-building is exactly what IRG needs as we are in a period of accelerated influence and statewide leadership.”

Prange replaces the founding chair, Rob McDonald, who has retired from the IRG Board to serve on the Board of Directors for IRG Action Fund, a grassroots education and advocacy organization.

“I will forever be grateful for Rob McDonald’s role in the founding of IRG, hiring me 5 years ago, and overseeing IRG from a start-up to a mature nonprofit organization. But, his background will be greatly appreciated at IRG Action Fund, which has experienced major growth in the last two years.”
