Delafield, Wis. – The Institute for Reforming Government (IRG) announced that Kevin Zielinski has joined the organization as Associate Counsel for Legal Reform & Oversight, expanding the IRG team to 9.5 employees.

WHY IT MATTERS:

In this role, Kevin will support IRG’s work to promote accountable, limited, and effective governance through legal research, oversight initiatives, and policy development – including working on the Court Watch judicial oversight project.

ABOUT KEVIN:

Before joining IRG full-time, Kevin served as the Hamilton Roddis Court Watch Fellow, where he monitored judicial proceedings and contributed to IRG’s growing body of oversight work. During law school, he interned with the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office and later joined Crossroad Legal, LLC, assisting with Second Amendment litigation across Illinois. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
