MADISON, Wisc. — BREAKING NEWS! On Friday, the CFC Action Fund, a Milwaukee-based organization that champions candidates who will ensure children receive a high-quality education from schools, just endorsed Brittany Kinser in her campaign for State Superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction.

In a statement released by the organization, CFC Action Fund Executive Director Colleen Morgan said, “At CFC, we have called for a clean slate, a fresh start, and a fundamentally new approach to the challenges facing students in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin. We believe Brittany Kinser has the vision, the experience, and the proven ability to build cross-partisan relationships necessary to transform Wisconsin’s education system, improve outcomes for students, and bring change to the Department of Public Instruction.”

Morgan went on to say that they “know that Brittany will not rest until every student and family in Milwaukee and across our state receives an excellent education at a high-quality school. It’s time to invest in leadership that puts kids first, supports teachers, and empowers families—Brittany Kinser is the right choice for Wisconsin State Superintendent.”

In response to the major endorsement, Brittany Kinser released the following statement: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of CFC Action Fund in the first week of my campaign for Wisconsin Superintendent. As a long-time educator and principal, I believe our children deserve so much better. I’m glad City Forward Collective’s Action Fund shares my vision for a better and brighter future for Wisconsin schools.”

The endorsement comes less than one week after Kinser entered the race for DPI Superintendent.
