Creating seamless transfer opportunities for students

MADISON, WIS.– Madison College, Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS), and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater have forged a new articulation agreement to enhance the goals of future early childhood educators.

Students completing the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) in Early Childhood Education at any Wisconsin Technical College that offers the program are eligible.

The program-to-program agreement between UW-Whitewater and WTCS offers qualifying students guaranteed admission to the fully online Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education degree and awards 43 credits toward the in-person or online Bachelor of Science in Education and 15-25 credits for general education.

Madison College provides an excellent, affordable option with smaller classes and dedicated advising for students to begin their education and successfully transfer to four-year colleges or universities.

This innovative agreement ensured a seamless transfer process between Madison College and other Wisconsin technical colleges and UW-Whitewater, promoting a smooth transition for future professionals in the field.
