MILWAUKEE – The County Board of Supervisors will hold their annual Women’s History Month celebration, kicking off the March Board meeting on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at noon.
The meeting will feature a program uplifting women, in line with the 2025 National Women’s History Month theme, “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.” The Board will present citations to outstanding women for their dedication to education, mentorship, and community service.
The Milwaukee County Board is more than 50% women and is led by the first Black woman and Latina elected Chairwoman, Marcelia Nicholson. Serving on the Board alongside the Chairwoman include 2nd Vice Chair Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones, in addition to Supervisors Deanna Alexander, Sequanna Taylor, Patti Logsdon, Felesia A. Martin, Kathleen Vincent, Caroline Gómez-Tom, as well as Supervisors Sky Z. Capriolo, and Anne O’Connor who are cohosting the celebration.
