After Six Years of Military Service, Pullen’s Focus Turns to Wisconsin’s Future
Appleton, WI – United States Marine, small business owner, and Eagle Scout Reive Pullen, 26, today announced his candidacy for Wisconsin State Assembly District 52. He is currently the only declared candidate for the seat, which represents both Appleton and Grand Chute, and is held by incumbent Lee Snodgrass (D).
“Today, I am excited to formally announce my campaign to represent Appleton and Grand Chute in Madison. My objective, since first considering a run, was to get actively involved by taking time to listen and learn from others, so I could fully understand how best to advocate for our community. After careful consideration and consulting with friends and family, I believe the best way forward for a more unified Wisconsin is to ensure the needs of the 52nd Assembly District are brought to the negotiating table. That is my focus. These days, partisan politics seem to be getting in the way of any real success for Wisconsites, and we need someone who can go represent our interests, while working with both sides of the aisle to fix our disorganized legislative process.”
A Marine, legislative intern, and Fox Valley Technical College graduate with law enforcement experience, Reive Pullen is making his initial run for the Wisconsin State Legislature to give Appleton and Grand Chute a stronger voice in Madison and to make sure the people here are being listened to, not talked down to.
