MADISON, Wis – Representative Clinton Anderson (D – Beloit) has introduced a joint resolution with Representative Randy Udell (D – Fitchburg) and Senator Tim Carpenter (D – Milwaukee) calling for the unconditional release of the Epstein files including all investigative files, documents, and sealed court records with redactions only for ongoing prosecutions and to
protect the identities of victims. The resolution also calls for any individual named in the documents who are credibly implicated in crimes to be thoroughly investigated, and if warranted, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

“I have worked with survivors of abuse. This is not about politics; it’s about justice. No one, regardless of wealth or connections, should be shielded from accountability,” said Representative Anderson.

“The list should be released in a responsible manner, with careful redactions if needed, to protect victims’ privacy and to ensure the validity of the investigation.”
