MADISON, Wis. –
Representative Ryan Clancy is proud to return to the Capitol as Representative to the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 19. He’s ready to fight the majority’s anti-worker agenda and continue rebuilding socialist power in Wisconsin.
Rep. Clancy will serve on the following committees during the 2025-2026 Legislative Session:
* Committee on Public Benefit Reform (ranking member)
* Committee on State and Federal Relations (ranking member)
* Committee on Corrections
* Committee on Housing and Real Estate
Rep. Clancy issued the following statement:
“November’s election cut the Republicans’ majority to slim margins –our caucus has a responsibility to fight and defeat their anti-worker agenda. This session, I’m proud to serve as ranking member on both the Assembly Committee on Public Benefit Reform and the Assembly Committee on State and Federal Relations. I also continue to serve on the Assembly Committee on Corrections and the Assembly Committee on Housing and Real Estate. These will be key to protecting our most vulnerable neighbors from attacks on immigrants, trans folks, and whoever else the majority tries to bully this time around.
“As Republicans have slashed the number of minority representatives in most committees, we’ll need to be even more vigilant to protect our friends and neighbors. Successfully delivering for the working class and defending progressive values will set us up to win big in 2026.”
