State Representative Steve Doyle (D-Onalaska), received appointments to four Assembly committees today for the 2025-26 legislative session. The committees include:
o Commerce (Ranking Member)
o Criminal Justice and Public Safety
o Financial Institutions (Ranking Member)
o Insurance (Ranking Member)
“I am excited to serve on all of these important committees,” said Doyle. “I would like to thank Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer for placing her trust in me to help represent Western Wisconsin on these critical issue areas.
“Each of these committees has a direct impact on our day-to-day life – creating a strong economy, ensuring access to affordable quality health insurance, and keeping our communities safe – I believe that these committees provide an excellent opportunity to advocate for these goals.”
Rep. Doyle served on the Financial Institutions (Ranking) and Insurance (Ranking) committees as well as the Speaker’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence (Vice-Chair) during the 2023-24 legislative session. Rep. Doyle was reelected in November to serve his eighth term representing the 94th Assembly District.
