Madison – Rep. Joy Goeben (R-Hobart) was sworn in to her second term in the State Assembly on January 6th, Inauguration Day at the State Capitol.

“I am grateful to my constituents in the 5th Assembly District for allowing me to return to the State Assembly to serve them for another session. This session should prove to be exciting as we move forward to continue to make improvements for taxpayers, families, and small business owners around the state,” share Rep. Goeben.

Republicans returned to a majority in both houses yesterday, with 54 members in the Assembly and 18 members in the Senate.

“One of my top priorities will be to continue to find practical solutions to the child care difficulties in our state. I am optimistic that we can reach a bipartisan agreement to tackle this issue and support families as this looming crisis continues to pose a serious threat.

“Additionally, I encourage constituents to reach out to my office with any statewide question or concern. My staff and I are always here to offer assistance in any way we can,” concluded Rep. Goeben.
