Madison, WI – Earlier today, Gov. Tony Evers signed Senate Bill 31 (SB 31) into law as 2025 Act 18. The proposal authored by Rep. Gundrum and Sen. Cabral-Guevara allows Advanced Practice Nurse Prescribers (APNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to serve as the local health officer to a local board of health.
