Madison, WI – Representative Rick Gundrum (R-Slinger) was sworn-in today to serve another term in the Wisconsin State Assembly. After the floor session, he issued the following statement:

“I am grateful to serve another term in the Wisconsin State Assembly. I am thankful to the people of the 58 th Assembly District for once again placing their trust in me as their state representative. I am excited to continue finding solutions regarding many of Wisconsin’s ongoing challenges.

“My priorities this session are the same as they have always been. I am committed to protecting Wisconsin taxpayers through means of additional tax cuts and investments to our workforce to help struggling families and businesses. I will continue being a voice for parental rights in our children’s schools. I was happy to serve on the Speaker’s Task Force on Human Trafficking last session, which had several bills signed into law. With that being said, there is still more work to be done to protect victims of human trafficking.

“I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues and Governor Tony Evers to come together to deliver results that matter the most to Wisconsinites so that we may continue moving our state forward.”
