Madison – State Representative Nate Gustafson (R-Fox Crossing) was sworn into office today to represent the 55th district in his second term during the Inauguration Day ceremony at the State Capitol.

“I am honored to serve the 55th district’s new and current constituents,” said Representative Gustafson. “I am excited to get to work for the people of the 55th and all Wisconsin residents.” 

Representative Nate Gustafson will serve on numerous committees, including the Committee on Government Oversight Accountability and Transparency Committee (GOAT), the Committee on Judiciary, the Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform, the Committee on State and Federal Relations (Vice-Chair), and the Committee on Ways and Means. In addition to those committees, he will serve as the Chair of the Committee of Science, Technology, and AI, and serve as the Chair on the Joint Committee on Information Policy and Technology. 

“I am thrilled to continue my work from the Speaker’s Taskforce on Artificial Intelligence this past session, as there is important work to be done. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues to pass legislation that will allow the state of Wisconsin to continue to be the ‘State that Innovates’,” shared Rep. Gustafson.
