MADISON- Today, Representative Andrew Hysell (D-Sun Prairie) was appointed to serve as the ranking Democratic member on the Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Judiciary. Representative Ryan Spaude (D-Green Bay) was also added as an additional committee member. Both Representatives Hysell and Spaude are attorneys—Hysell a practicing attorney at LawtonCates, S.C. and Spaude a former Brown County Assistant District Attorney.
In response, Rep. Hysell (D-48) released the following statement:
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as ranking Democratic member for the Assembly Committee on the Judiciary. I am also pleased to be joined by my esteemed colleague, Representative Ryan Spaude. Representative Spaude and I will bring our civil and criminal legal expertise to the work of the Committee.
