Following the inauguration ceremony, Rep. Hysell released the following statement:
“I am humbled and honored to have been sworn into the Wisconsin State Assembly today to begin my first term representing the 48th Assembly District. Myself, along with my fellow Assembly Democrats, stand ready to deliver the promises on which we were elected, including freedom, opportunity, and economic security.
“Following the passage of last year’s new legislative maps, the 2025-26 Assembly Democrats are composed of members from all corners of the state that will provide new energy, expertise, and perspective. I am excited to learn from all of them and make my own contributions as we work to improve the lives of all Wisconsin residents.”
