MADISON – Today, a bipartisan coalition of legislators from across Wisconsin led by State Rep. Jenna Jacobson, Rep. Clinton Anderson, Senator Mark Spreitzer, and Senator Brad Pfaff delivered a letter to President Donald Trump in support of Wisconsin soybean farmers negatively impacted by the President’s tariff policy.
The letter calls on President Donald Trump to recognize the damage that is being done to soybean farmers in Wisconsin caused by China’s boycott of American soybeans due to the President’s tariff policy. Additionally, it urges President Trump to resolve the trade war with China in order to restore access to a vital market for Wisconsin farmers.
30 legislators signed on to the letter and it was delivered to the White House on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025.
