Madison, WI — On Monday, January 6, 2025, Paul Melotik was officially sworn in for his second term as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the newly drawn 22nd District. This district includes parts of Ozaukee and Washington counties, covering the communities of Grafton (Town and Village), Cedarburg (Town and Village), Port Washington (Town and City), as well as portions of Germantown and Mequon.

During the 2025-2026 legislative session, Melotik will serve as the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Workforce Development, Labor, and Integrated Employment.

“I’m incredibly honored to continue serving the people of the 22nd District,” said Melotik. “This session, my focus will be on advancing tax relief for working families, making investments in education, enhancing public safety, election integrity and working to develop and grow Wisconsin’s workforce to ensure our state remains competitive in the years ahead.”

In addition to his leadership role as Chair of the Committee on Workforce Development, Labor, and Integrated Employment, Rep. Melotik will also serve on several other key committees. These include the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, the Education Committee, the Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation Committee, the Jobs and Economy Committee, the Small Business Development Committee, and the Joint Committee on Information, Policy and Technology. Through his work on these committees, Melotik will continue to advocate for policies that support public safety, improve educational opportunities, and foster a strong economy across Wisconsin.
