MADISON, Wis. – Tonight, Governor Tony Evers delivered his State of the State address, highlighting his vision for the state and the upcoming budget process. Representative Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) released the following statement:
“Tonight, Governor Evers presented a clear vision for our state and laid out plans that will support working families and future generations. From addressing rising costs for families to helping support Wisconsin’s kids through smart investments in mental health, education, and clean water, Governor Evers and Legislative Democrats are ready to address critical issues facing communities all over the state.
“I am thrilled to hear Governor Evers declare 2025 the ‘Year of the Kid’. Government can and should be a force for good, and we should be using every opportunity in the legislature to ensure our next generation has every opportunity to thrive.”
