FOND DU LAC…State Representative Jerry L. O’Connor (R-Fond du Lac) was sworn into office today at the official Inauguration Day ceremony at the State Capitol in Madison. O’Connor thus starting his two-year term as the Representative for the 60th District.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to serve the residents of the 60th District,” said O’Connor. “I’m excited to get work done”
Rep. O’Connor will serve on a number of important committees including his role as the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Corrections. O’Connor will be a member on the Committee on Colleges and Universities, Committee on Energy and Utilities, and the Committee on Financial Institutions.
“My priority is to continue making Wisconsin a great state to live, work, and retire,” O’Connor explained. “As Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, I will work to ensure tax code is low, simple, and fair I look forward to working with colleagues to develop policies to keep Wisconsin moving forward.”

- Town of Friendship – Fond du Lac County
- Town of Empire – Fond du Lac County
- Village of North Fond du Lac – Fond du Lac County
- City of Fond du Lac – Fond du Lac County
