Madison – State Rep. Amaad Rivera-Wagner (D-Green Bay) has been assigned to serve on two important Assembly committees for the 2025-2026 legislative session. Rivera-Wagner will be a member of the Assembly Committee on Consumer Protection and the Assembly Committee on Local Government.
“I am so excited to roll up my sleeves and dive into the work. These committee appointments will allow me to focus on two of my passions and priorities – local governments and protecting consumers from predatory lending. That being said, I still plan to be a champion for issues related to fair, affordable housing and the protection of our democracy. I am looking forward to a busy and productive session,” Rivera-Wagner said.
Yesterday, Rivera-Wagner was sworn in to represent the Green Bay-centered 90th Assembly District in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
