Today’s decision by President Trump to pardon those tied to efforts to overturn Wisconsin’s 2020 election is deeply disappointing and painful for our community. Green Bay was ground zero for these conspiracy theories—costing taxpayers millions, threatening public servants, and endangering lives. My husband and I, along with others, faced harassment and death threats simply for telling the truth. While families in Green Bay struggle with the cost of food, housing, and healthcare, we’re once again seeing politics focused on conspiracies instead of solutions. Accountability should never be a political game. I remain committed to advancing legislation that protects those who run our elections, ensures transparency, and rebuilds public trust because democracy only works when those who uphold it are protected and respected.”
