Madison… Today, Representative Patrick Snyder (R-Weston) took the oath of office to begin his fifth term as Representative for the 85th Assembly District. Following the Inauguration Ceremony, Representative Snyder made the following statement:

“I am honored to have been chosen by my friends and neighbors in Wausau to represent them in Madison during the 107th Legislature of the State Assembly. I look forward to working with all my colleagues and Governor Evers to continue providing commonsense solutions for Wisconsin. I look forward to a productive session and getting to work on the upcoming state budget.”

In December, Representative Snyder was again selected by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to serve as Chairman of the Committee on Children and Families for the 2025-2026 Legislative Session. Rep. Snyder concluded: 

“It is truly an honor to again Chair the Assembly Committee on Children and Families. I look forward to continuing the Committee’s important work of protecting children, solving child care challenges, improving adoption and foster care systems, and ensuring that Wisconsin remains a great place to raise a family.”

Rep. Snyder will also serve as a member of the following committees; Campaigns and Elections, Education, Health Aging and Long Term Care, Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Veterans and Military Affairs, and Workforce Development Labor and Integrated Employment.
