Madison – Representative Shae Sortwell (R-Gibson) released the following statement regarding the First Responder of the Year Award ceremony at this week’s Assembly floor session:
“It was an honor to present John Kowalski with a citation recognizing his dedication to serving the community including performing lifesaving CPR, for his commitment to growing his skills, and challenging his fellow officers to do the same,” said Rep. Sortwell.
Kowalski has dedicated a total of eleven years serving as a law enforcement officer. He has proactively served on multiple specialty units and demonstrated a commitment to leading by example.
