Madison, WI – Representative Rob Swearingen (R-Rhinelander) released the following statement after being sworn in for his seventh term in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
“It is an honor to begin my seventh term serving the residents of the Northwoods. During this new session, I remain committed to continuing tax cuts, expanding broadband access, promoting tourism, and focusing on other issues affecting the 34th Assembly District” Swearingen stated.
“I look forward to the opportunity to once again represent Northwoods values in Madison and make our area a better place to live, work, and raise a family. Representative Swearingen has been reappointed to serve as the chairman of the Assembly Committee on State Affairs. In addition, Representative Swearingen will serve as Vice-Chair on the Assembly Committee on Tourism and the State Building Commission.
Representative Swearingen is one of 54 Assembly Republicans in the 2025-2026 legislative session.
