MADISON – Today, Representative Randy Udell (D-Fitchburg) applauded the plan for broadband expansion in the town of Dunkirk. The Dane County Planning and Development department partnered with UpNetWI to provide 140 underserved households with broadband access.
Representative Udell released the following statement:
“I strongly support this initiative. As a former employee of the internet sector, I understand that swift and reliable internet connection is of the utmost importance in our fast, modern world.
“Whether it be the ability to contact your place of employment, educate yourself via online learning, connecting with family from afar or anything in between, making sure our residents have adequate access to the internet is crucial for both the economic and social wellbeing of our state.”
