STOUGHTON, WI – Each year, Stoughton celebrates Syttende Mai honoring Norway’s Constitution Day on the weekend that falls closest to May 17th.
Representative Randy Udell (D-47th District) released the following statement:
“Syttende Mai is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Norwegian heritage, culture, and independence. For decades, Stoughton has attracted thousands of attendees to enjoy music, art, food, and cultural experiences drawn from the city’s strong Norwegian roots. I commend Stoughton for promoting this joyous and valuable festival, and I wish visitors and residents alike a happy Syttende Mai.”
