WEST BEND – Conservative Washington County judicial candidate Grant Scaife today announced that he has received the strong endorsement of the Washington County Deputy Sheriffs Association in his campaign for Washington County Circuit Court Judge, Branch II. This is in addition to other law enforcement endorsements that he has received from Washington County Sheriff Marty Schulteis, Washington County District Attorney Barry Braatz, and the Milwaukee Police Association. The backing from the county’s law enforcement community underscores Scaife’s proven record of tough-on-crime prosecution and his deep understanding of the challenges facing deputies on the front lines.
“Grant has worked side by side with our deputies on some of the toughest crimes, supporting our high bonds and firm sentences that hold violent offenders accountable,” said Andrew Graber, President of the Washington County Deputy Sheriffs Association. “Grant embodies the values of our deputies; he has stood with us in the courtroom, case after case, and he knows the long hours and sacrifices that go into every investigation.”
“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Washington County Deputy Sheriffs Association,” Scaife said. “These dedicated deputies put their lives on the line every day to keep our families safe, and their trust means everything to me.”
Scaife is currently an Assistant District Attorney in Washington County, where he prosecutes crimes including homicides, sexual assaults, drug trafficking, domestic violence, and OWIs. He has been a prosecutor for more than seven years. He is a UW-Madison law school graduate and lives with his wife and son in Germantown. Learn more about Grant at grantforwashco.com.
