WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Today, in response to the shameful and distasteful ads Susan Crawford’s campaign has run, the Schimel for Justice campaign released a new TV ad titled ‘Tell Me.” In the emotional spot, homicide survivor Laurie recounts how Judge Brad Schimel stood with her family during the heartbreaking experience of losing her sister and defends Schimel’s career of putting victims first, and refusing to quit until justice is served.

“As a 30+ year front-line prosecutor, Attorney General, and judge, Brad Schimel earned a reputation for being tough and relentless in his pursuit of justice. From standing hand-in-hand alongside victims and their families to working side-by-side with law enforcement, Brad Schimel has dedicated his life to protecting victims and delivering justice for the most vulnerable. For Brad Schimel, being “tough on crime” is not a campaign slogan; it’s his life calling.” – Schimel For Justice Spokesperson Jacob Fischer
FULL TRANSCRIPT OF ‘TELL ME’:
“When my sister was murdered 15 years ago, Brad Schimel kept his promise to us.
He told us he was gonna get us justice, and he did.
When I see these commercials attacking him, I have a lot to say about that, because Brad would kneel next to my mom and hold her hands.
And you’re gonna tell me that’s a person that doesn’t care about victims?
I’m sorry, that is not true.
Brad puts victims first, and that’s the type of person that should be in the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”
