WAUKESHA, Wisc. – In just a few hours, Judges Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford will take the debate stage. As the debate draws near, voters will soon see which version of Susan Crawford shows up.

Will it be the Susan Crawford who proudly opposed Wisconsin’s voter ID law, calling it “draconian,” and comparing it to a “poll tax?” Or the Susan Crawford who is now distancing herself from her activist past now trying to take credit for the popular law she fought to strike? Will it be the Susan Crawford who attempted to eliminate Act 10 and recently bragged about her efforts, or will it be the Susan Crawford who pretends she shouldn’t recuse?

For years, Susan Crawford wore her far-Left legal work as a badge of honor, proudly taking on any case that would deliver policy victories for progressives. When running for judge in Dane County, she bragged about these far-Left efforts, but now that she seeks a statewide promotion, Susan Crawford must answer to voters in 71 other counties as to why she took wildly unpopular positions.

“Susan Crawford’s campaign is bankrolled by George Soros and the same radical groups she once represented. Now that she has to answer for her radical history, she begs and pleads to Wisconsin voters to believe that she can remain objective on the highest Court – she wants to have it both ways.” – Schimel for Justice Spokesperson Jacob Fischer
